Owner and Captain is Ramon Hiram Montaño. Ramon was born and raised in Cabo San Lucas and although he is only 32 years old, he has been a mate and Captain for almost 20 years. Ramon was one of the youngest Captains in Cabo at the age of 18. His 20 years of fishing experience, not only in the waters of Cabo San Lucas but Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Vallarta Bahamas and Mazatlan, just to mention a few, has made him one of the most respected, knowledgeable, honest and hard working Captains in Cabo San Lucas.

Ramon has won and placed in the money in several well known tournaments throughout Mexico and his intimate knowledge of the fishing areas around Cabo are second to none. Ramon & the Dream Weaver boat recently finished 1st place in the prestigious 2010 Bisbee East Cape Marlin Tournament, the top money winners in the 2009 Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament, the largest Marlin tournament in the world and finished 2nd place overall money winner in the 2010 Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament. Capt. Ramon has tournament money winnings of over 1.2 million dollars in just the past year. Ramon speaks fluent English, has a great personality and enjoys talking and teaching with his clients.

Located at the southern tip of the magnificent Baja peninsula, the waters around Los Cabos provide some of the finest sportfishing in the world and in fact, Cabo San Lucas is known as the "Marlin Capital of the World."

The waters around Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos are world-famous for the size and abundance of trophy game fish they contain. Many world record-size catches have come from these waters and Dream Weaver Sportfishing's experienced captains are some of the best in the business. Marlin is the king of all trophy fish, and there are more caught around Cabo San Lucas year-round than anywhere else in the world.

Los Cabos is the municipality which includes the cities of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo and located in the state of Baja California Sur.

Sportfishing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is one of the world's great vacation travel experiences. Located at the absolute, extreme tip of Mexico's famous Baja California peninsula, "Cabo" is a magic vacation spot where sportfishing tourism is so intense that on any given morning it is often possible to see more than 200 charter boats leaving the marina, carrying eager vacationers who have come from all over the world to catch Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dorado and dozens of other game fish species, such as Red Snapper, Yellowtail, Sierra, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, Groupers, and many, many more.
Cabo San Lucas, with its large marina and beautiful bay where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, is famous for its casual atmosphere and exciting nightlife. The average year-round temperature is 78F. During high tourist season, October to April, the temperature is typically 80F during the day and cools to the 60's at night. The low tourist season, May to September, the temperature will go up to 100F+ during the day and stay in the upper 70's and low 80's in the evening. The average year-round water temperature in the Sea of Cortez is 72F. During the summer months the water temperature can reach the mid 80's. The climate is arid with over 300 days of sunshine, with some reports of over 350 days. Average annual rainfall is 10 inches (25.4cm), most with occurring during the months of September and October.
